We Don't Forget.
On May 28, 2016, a 17-year-old western lowland gorilla named Harambe was shot and killed at the Cincinnati Zoo. The world was took notice as millions came together in collective mourning for a creature who had become a symbol of something larger.
We started harambe.style because we want to honor his legacy, which has been cheapened by low quality, tasteless merch. If you invoke Harambe's name, you need to do so with great care and respect.
We decided to build the kind of clothing we wanted to wear: heavyweight cotton that kept up with our active lifestyles. Iconic pieces that carry the same quiet permanence that Harambe’s memory has held for nearly a decade.
